Effie Johnson-White, the Walter Johnson Family’s oldest member passed away on January 8, 2018 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Effie had recently been in poor health at a nursing home in Michigan. No service is currently planned and she will be cremated and her remains will be entombed next to her late husband, Ernest in a nearby VA cemetery.
Effie was born in Mason, TN on September 6, 1921. She was 96 years old at her passing.
